The Pipes and Drums of the Police Emerald Society of Westchester Band was founded in May 1973 under the direction of Lt. Martin J. Harding of the Yonkers Police Department. Our membership is comprised of local, state, and federal Officers from Police Departments and agencies located within the County of Westchester, New York.

Proudly promoting Irish heritage through music.

September 11, 2024 the Band performed at the Rising at Kensico Dam

 

September 2024 the Band led the Yonkers Force Football Team onto the field

 

The Band played at the 2024 Inauguration of Yonkers Officials.

 

The Band was honored to play at the funeral service for East Fishkill PD Police Officer Daniel DiDato, who was given an Inspectors Funeral on 12/23/2023.

 

The Band was at Brodie’s Pub to present a Bass Drum Head to our long time friends and biggest supporters.
